SOUTH CENTRAL IRC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS - TS2 and TS3 Only

For your race South Central will be enforcing the gear restrictions for those who either want to qualify for the IRC. No Carbon wheels allowed for athletes looking to qualify in T2 or T3. Only standard Alloy wheels. To qualify, you must also be a member of British Triathlon.

If you are not looking to qualify you are not required to restrict gears.

FAMILY FUN TRIATHLON

This event operates slightly differently to a traditional fixed distance event, after an initial fixed 100m swim you will be afforded time on the 1.5km bike and 600m run course to complete as much distance as you or you child wants.

THE SWIM

The swim hugs the bank of the lake over 100m so that the shallows are always within easy reach, exiting the water straight into transition.

Here you’ll get ready and head out on the bike riding up and down the lakeside closed roads.

THE BIKE

You will have free reign over the bike course until 30 minutes after the event starts.

THE RUN

You will have free reign over the run course until 45 minutes after the event starts.
