ABOUT THE COURSE
If you’ve signed up to your first triathlon and you’re thinking about how you can best prepare for the swim section why not come and join us for our open water for triathlon course.
This session is aimed at newer triathletes and swimmers of all abilities who want to improve their relaxation and confidence in the open water whilst learning how to master the basic skills of racing in a triathlon.
This course will provide the opportunity to familiarise yourself with what swimming in a triathlon is like as well as practicing the skills needed to enjoy the experience and race well. We know that your first few large events can be daunting and the importance of being able to relax into the event knowing you can confidently manage your performance all the way from the swim start to the exit.
There will be plenty of opportunities to ask our skilled coaches any questions you may have about open water swimming, swimming techniques and triathlon in general.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the open water training session.
