FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS?

Do I need to have done a triathlon before?

Absolutely not this is a great event for first timers and is geared up specifically to provide an entry point for people into the sport.

I'm an experienced triathlete is this for me?

Do you need to improve your transitions?

Get used to working harder over short distances and switch up muscle groups?

Have you seen super league?

GoTri’s super sprint format present a great opportunity to refine your race craft, socialise with other triathletes in a low cost way.

How is the race timed?

We use an electronic iPad based timing system which provides start and finish times for everybody taking part in the event.

Saving money on the timing system is one of the key things we do to deliver this event at such a low cost. The only downside is the system doesn’t generate timing splits so if you want to breakdown your race this is best done via keeping your own time on your smart watch.

Do you provide Food & Water

Not on course but at the finish line we have a selection of fruit and water available.

What facilities are available on site

You have full use of the leisure centres changing facilities including showers, lockers, toilets and cafe.

Woking Park is a great venue for spectators, there is a viewing gallery for the competition pool, the transition & finish is located just outside, and you will pass them several times on the run.
